Back-To-School: DIY Calendar

Hello everyone! It’s official September is here and School too, for some of us I think. In my case, I still have a few days before starting class again. But currently it’s organization time. When I start to plan the year and some goals. And one of my tools is the calendar. Honestly I don’t know how I would do without it! πŸ€”πŸ˜

But this year, I wanted to make my own calendar, because I always struggle finding a cute one and when I find one… ugh ! The price instantly drive me away 😨 And as I have a huge collection of scrapbooking paper, I thought it was time to reduce it and use some. 🀣

I selected 12 different pieces, one for each month. Mine were about 30Γ—30. I wanted to make a big calendar. πŸ˜‰

Then I cut one bif strip of white paper, wrote the month name on it and glued it on the top.

To make the days, I cut a big piece of paper, drew lines and wrote the days. That was the longest part, I have to tell you. I thought I would never finish it. πŸ˜…

After that, I chose to add another space on the bottom, for writing any kind of notes.

I did the same thing for every month.

To assemble it, I made two holes on the top, string two pieces of thread and attachΓ©s it to a clothe hanging. This way, I can hang it anywhere I wish.

Taddaa!!

Do you like it? I have to admit it’s not a difficult but long DIY. But I don’t mind, because when I will be working on my notes, and look at this calendar, I will remember all the time I spend making it and all the love I gave to it. And remembering this will only make working better.

Don’t you agree ?

Anyway, I hope you like this DIY. I did have a good time making it.

Thank you for reading me.

I’ll talk to you soon in a next post,

Until then, take care of yourself and happy back-to-school! πŸ˜„
