Zero Waste and Zero Spending DIYs

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all well and enjoying Spring. Here, the weather is rather nice, which is great as we’ve a lot of work in the garden.

Today, I thought I would share with you some ideas I’ve collected of DIYs that allow you to “recycle” things you have in your house. I personally live this kind of DIYs because of the Zero waste and the Zero spending aspects. I find it so satisfying making these.

Here they are! 🙂

#1 Pillow for your cats

Use an old pullover and some fabric and thread leftovers for the filling(I also used some cat hair, they’re very soft and clean so it’s perfect).

#2 Gift Boxes /Storage Boxes

Use empty shoe boxes and wrapping paper /wallpaper leftovers. When using wallpaper I would recommend you to use double-sided tape, or it won’t stay together.

#3 Cardboard Plant Pot

Cover any box you have with paper. Easy as ABC!

#4 Vases and Candle Jars

Use any jar you have and some paper napkins.

#5 Cardboard House-Shelves

For this one, I used some cardboard sheets I’ve collected from milk packages. To strengthen the structure I used some newspaper between two sheets, for the walls. I used some scrapbooking paper and stickers to decorate the outside and inside. For the drawers, I covered some boxes with paper and glued some wooden beads for the handles. But if I remove these drawers it can be used as the doll house.

And that’s it! These are the 5 ideas I wanted to share with you. I have more, so if you are interested, let me know. 🙂

That’s all for today’s post, I hope you like it.

Thank you for passing by and reading my blog.

I’ll talk to you soon in a next post.

Until then, take care of yourself ❤

Ady ❤
