Hello everyone ! How are you today ? Is the weather as cold as here ? Gosh, I’m freezing, it makes me remenber why I don’t like Lady Winter. Sometimes, I envy people who like her. Anyway, she is here, or almost. And we have to get prepared, to make sure we’ll survive. Today, I’m gonna share with you recipes, sewing projects and my essentials for this season. Let’s get started !
Hot Smoothie:
For this smoothie, you’ll need banana, dark chocolate and milk. Melt the chocolate and smash banana. Mix chocolate and banana together, then add milk to make the mix more liquid. That’s it !
Hot Soup:
Cook some carrots, leeks and one marrow into boiling water. Add some garlic and some chicken stock. When cooked, mix all the ingredients into the blender. Let cool down a bit and serve.
DIY Snood:
Take a simple scarf and sew together the ends. And that’s it !! Easy, isn’t it ?
My Winter Essentials:
Everytime Winter is coming back, I have to bring out some essentials to survive the cold for months ! 🙂 Here they are!
–Pink hot-water bag, this one is absolutely essential for winter evenings and nights, especially whn I get sick 😦 A must-have !
–Elephant Teapot, a gift I got long time ago from one of my favourite teabrands Lipton. I often use it on evenings for tea, coffee or hot chocolate and drink a lot.
–Hot drinks Mug, most of the time, I use it for coffee or hot chocolate.
–Slippers, since I’ve made these, I wear them all the time. If you want to know how I made them, go there.
–Soft and warm peignoir, perfect for cocooning evenings 😉
–Woolen leg gaiters, useful to get your legs warm. I don’t really remember since when I do have these, but I remember I used them when I was attending dance class(and it was a long time ago)
– Faux fur scarf and snood, so soft and comfy 🙂
– Pompom hat, I do have other bonnet but this one is my favourite 🙂
– Faithful red down jacket, honestly this one has been for years my very best friend in Winter. When I wear it, I don’t feel the cold outside and its hood is sooo big, I love it ! Because something that always turns bad with coats, it’s the hood, always too small.
