Hi everyone! Today, I wanted to show you some fruit themed DIYs I recently made. I hope you’ll like them.
#Watermelon and Melon Jars
To make these very easy “jars”, I used two cylindrical plastic pot. Using some washi tape I divided the pot in two parts.
On one side I painted dark green and light green stripes. And on the other side I painted red. When it was dry, I made with black paint some seeds. On this one, the kid was already red, so I just had to paint seeds on it.
For the melon pot, I did the same thing, using some orange paint instead of red paint.
#Orange Snacktime Box
I used a Pringles box for this DIY. With a craft knife, I cut about 10 cm from the bottom. I made clean edges to make sure the lid would fit well.
I could have painted it but I was kind of lazy that day, so I used some fabric to cover the box. I first covered the sides, using glue. I stitched down the excess on the bottom and glued a circle of fabric above, to make a nice finishing. I used a glass to hold the whole thing together until it was dry.
While it was drying, I worked on the lid. I cut off a circle from orange paper. Then, I took some white paper and cut out the orange slice shape. And I glued this on the lid. And I was done!
#Strawberry Pompom
First, I made an oval shaped red pompom. Then, I cut off some tiny triangles out of some black fabric, to make the seeds. I cut the leaves out of dark green fabric and used a piece of green wire for the stem. I glued the seeds, leaves and stem with some hit glue to the pompom and waited till it was dry.
I’m very happy how these DIYs turned out. But I think my favorite today is the snacktime box. I find it so cute. 😍
What about you? Which one do you prefer? I hope you enjoyed this post.
