The most delicious apple pie in the world

Summer has gone and Fall has come, as pears and apples on trees were ready for harvesting. Now that apples are all harvested, it’s time to do something out of them.

In my family, we usually make two recipes, applesauce and apple pie. And we eat the remaining apples. Today, I want to share with you our traditional apple pie recipe. By the way, it appears to me that’s probably one of the first recipes I learn to make.

To make this pie, you’ll need :

– 250g of flour

– 125g of butter

– 50g of icing sugar

– 1 egg

– apples( 2 or 3,depending on their size)

First of all, make the dough. Melt the butter into the microwave. Add the sugar and mix. Add, little by little the flour and the egg. Mix until you got a ball of dough. Leave it in the fridge to rest for about one hour.

Now, preheat the oven ( 190°C). Take a piece of baking paper and spread the dough on it. When it’s large enough, place it in the pie mold. (With the paper, this way it’s easier to remove the baked pie) Using a fork, make some tiny holes in the dough, to let it breath while baking.

Peel off and cut into slices apples. Display them on the dough making a clockwise circle. Cut the rest of apples into smaller slices and display them in the center making a rose.

Just before placing it in the oven, sprinkle with sugar, it’ll give the pie a slight tan.

Bake it for about 40/45 minutes or until the pie is slightly brown.

Enjoy!

I hope you like this classical fall recipe. Thank you for passing by and reading my blog, I really appreciate.

I’ll talk to you in a next post, until then, take care of yourself ❤

Ady ❤
