Making my own Toothpaste

Hello!

I recently realized supermarkets toothpaste was filled with fluoride, a dangerous chemical product. To put in a nutshell, this component is little by little destroying neurons as we absorb it. I wanted to avoid it. But fluoride is everywhere, speaking of toothpaste. The rare ones are so expensive I couldn’t think about buying them. So I got back to my ever favourite solution: Homemade!

I looked for recipes, on YouTube, Pinterest, blogs etc. After a few weeks of research, I found one on YouTube. As it’s a quit easy one, I wanted to share it with you.

I used:

– 6 tablespoon of white clay

– 3/2 teaspoon of baking soda

– 3-5 drops of cloved essential oil

– 2 cloves

– water

I mixed together the clay and the soda then added the essential oil. I added 4 teaspoons of water and mixed well. Then, I reduced in powder the cloves and added the powder to the mixture. To get a paste, you may need to add some more water.

Now, I’m storing it in a small glass jar and deep my toothbrush inside when it’s time. šŸ™‚

Next time, I’ll try another flavour, because clove flavour isn’t the best one, for breath yes but the taste is a bit too strong for me.

That’s all for today’s post, hope you like it. Thanks for passing by and reading my blog.

I’ll talk to you soon in a next post,

Until then, take care of yourself ā¤
