Hello everyone! Today I’m back on the blog with another autumn family classic: the mirabelle pie.
Even if I prefer the apple version, I still like this one occasionally.
You’ll need:
– lots of mirabelles (or any other plums)
– 250g of flour
– 130g of butter
– some water
– sugar
– icing sugar
#Make the crust
Mix the flour with the butter until you got a ball of dough. Add some water if the mixing is too crumby.
Leave it to rest in the fridge for 20 minutes.
#Prepare the fruits and make the pie
Cut each fruit in half and remove the nucleus. When the crust is ready to use, place it in a greased mold, or with baking paper. Using a fork make some holes everywhere so the crust would be able to breath when baking. Display the fruits and generously cover with sugar. Bake at 190°C for about 40 minutes, when the crust is getting tanned.
Let it cool down before serving. Add some icing sugar on top and voila! Enjoy a piece of this pie with your tea.
I hope you like this recipe. Thanks for passing by and reading my blog.
I’ll talk to you soon in a next post,
Until then, take care of yourself ❤
Ady ❤
