Talking about wrapping Christmas presents, this year I wanted to go for something simple.
Recently, I’ve been really into Kraft brown paper. It reminds me sooo much of retro packaging. Not so long-ago there were not as many fancy wrapping papers as today. People would use brown paper, for posting and giving. Whereas I love the bright colors of Christmas decorations, I quite like the simplicity and rusticity of the brown paper-wrapped presents.
So this year I decided to wrap all the presents with brown paper, some with all brown paper and others with patterned brown paper.
An easy way to make this kind of wrapping brighter, if you want, is to play with washi tape, ribbons etc. This way presents will look a lot more chic than they would with some patterned glossy wrapping paper (in my opinion)
