My first Poke Bowl

I think anyone can relate, after Christmas and New Year’s feasts, even if we didn’t eat as much as others, we feel the urge for healthier food. Personally I don’t eat that much on Christmas, sometimes less than usual, but still I feel this food is far richer than the one I eat all year around. So a few days ago, I decided to try one of those healthy recipes stored in my Pinterest board. I went for a poke bowl. There are many things from the original recipe I chose to skip, still the food is healthy and delicious. The perfect combo, isn’t it?

Also, you don’t any particular cooking skills to make this dish, it’s so easy to make!

Let me tell you what I put in my bowl and how.

First I put some white rice (Thailand one, cooked in the rice cooker), as a basis.

Then, I cut about 200g of raw salmon into small cubes. And I dipped them into some soy sauce.

In the meantime, I peeled off and sliced one avocado and displayed the slices on the rice.

Finally I also displayed the salmon cubes on the remaining rice and sparkled some sesame seeds on top.

And voila!

No cooking, except the rice, no complex steps. To put in a nutshell, the easiest healthy recipe I’ve ever made!

Hope you like this recipe. Thank you once again for passing by and reading my blog.

That’s all for today’s post, I’ll talk to you soon in a next post.

Until then, take care of yourself ❤

Ady ❤
