Charming Lady Spring

Hi everyone ! Welcome back ! How are you all ? How was your week ? Are you spending well the weekend ?

Here is another Spring DIY. A small one this week. Small but still cute. ❀ It’s a little fan. I like this DIY, it’s quite easy, you don’t need a lot of materials and the result is very cute, perfect as an ornament.

Let’s have a look on this DIY !

You’ll need one piece of scrapbook paper, some sticks(I called them giant toothpicks πŸ˜‰ )

________________________________________________________________

Β On white paper, draw a fan shape.

Use this pattern to do the same thing on the scrapbook paper. Cut it like shown on the picture on the left.

Beware: DO NOT THROW AWAY the piece of paper in the middle. I t will get some use later.

Now, take your giant toothpicks, 5 will be enough. We will put them like in the picture.

Reverse the scrapbook paper and glue the sticks to it. Keep the middle piece will make it easier.

This piece of paper will help you keeping the gap between the two parts you’re keeping.(Too much keeping in this sentence :/) Just be careful not to glue it too, glue only the 2 other parts πŸ˜‰ Keep it when gluing the sticks on sides, then remove it.

Leave it to dry a while.

When dryed, use a secateur to cut the extra of the sticks. Draw again the fan shape on white paper and cut it the same way. We’ll use it to cover the back.

To complete it, I added a little bow on it. I found it cuter this way πŸ™‚

That’s it. What do you think ? Do you like it ? Tell me in the comments. I would be very happy to know your opinion.
