Summer Clothing

Hello everyone! How are you? I’m terribly sorry, I’m two weeks late, but many things kept me away from the blog, such as a flood in our house… Yep! As you probably guess, it also mean we had lots of cleaning to do etc. But today, I found time for blogging. So, here I am ! 🙂

Summer is slowly coming back as you know, so I wanted to share with some Clothing DIYs for Summer. They are very easy, some of them are so easy that I think it’ll be more accurate to talk about customizing. 😉 So, let’s get started right now !

#Summer Capeline

For this summer hat, you’ll need a simple hat, some ribbons, fake flowers and glue. Place ribbons and flowers on the hat. When you’re satisfied with the result, take your glue and fix the whole thing.

Now, you got a nice hat for this summer. Everyone will try to steal it from you! 😉

#Sandals

I’m gonna show you how to give a new life to old or old fashioned sandals. That’s as easy as for the hat we previously made. You’ll need fabric ribbons, gems etc.

I don’t think it’s necessary to explain how I did, pictures are enough to. I’m gonna show you how to make the cute bows I glued on each sandal.

Take a piece of ribbon. Sew the edges together. Fold like on pictures. Take some coton thread and twine it around the center of the ribbon, very tightly. Do it several times and glue the end of the thread at the back of the bow. Then, glue the bow on the sandal.

Taddaaa!!! Look how these boring and ugly black sandals turned out ! I love it !!

#Watermelon Pants

To make these watermelon pants, you’ll need pink pants and fabric pens.

Take your pens and paint all the bottom part in green. Do it on both sides. Let it dry between each steps. Then, with a black fabric pen, draw lots of seeds on the rest of the pants. Let it dry and voila! With no effort and no penny, you got pants that others would buy a fortune in stores ! 😉

#Swimsuit

To make the bikini panties, you’ll need a T-shirt and panties. Put the shirt on the back and use the panties to mark the contours. As I wanted a high-waisted bikini, I added a few cm to the top. Leave 2cm between the line and your cuting line. Cut the two layers of fabric. Then draw on one layer the contours of the front part of the panties (see pictures) Cut off the excess. Ses the front and the back together only on 3 spots, those I marked with pink pens on the pictures. 😉 On the other sides, just hem.

Taddaa! You got your bikini’s panties.

Now, for the bra part, I used an “old” push-up bra of mine. I took my fabric pens and draw some drawings. I used colors that would remind about the panties.

And voila! You got yourself a cute bikini for the summer. No excuse for not going to the beach. 😉

#Croptop

To make the crop top, I used the shirt leftover from the swimsuit project. I just wore it inverting the front and the back. On the back, I was left with two hanging down pieces. I made a knot with these two on my back, to secure the top.

That’s all for today’s post. I hope you these DIYs. Again, sorry for the delay, blame the storm and all the water that came into my house in the middle of the night. 😉

Thanks for passing by and reading my blog, I really appreciate it. 🙂

I’lml talkl to you soon in a next post.

Until then, take care of yourself ❤

Ady ❤
