Homemade Teatime Butter Cookies

Hello everyone!

Today I’m sharing with you one of my favourite cookies recipe. These are perfect with tea and very easy to make.

You’ll need:

– 115g of butter

– 100g of sugar

– some vanilla extract

– one egg

– 210g of flour

– a pinch of salt

Preheat the oven at 180°C. Mix the butter with the sugar, until you got a creamy mixing. Add the vanilla extract and the egg white. Add little by little the flour and the salt.

Make some little balls, about 2cm. From these balls, give them a stick shape and twist like I did.

When all your cookies are made, “paint” them with the egg yolk.

Your cookies should fill about two baking sheets.

Bake in the oven for about 14 minutes. Halfway through the baking, reverse the sheets. This way, they’ll get the same color.

As you can see, I just forgot to reverse on time, so half of my cookies are a little more Brown than the other half. But still they are delicious.

I hope you like this recipe. If you try, let me know how it turns out. 😃

Thank you for passing by and reading my blog, I really appreciate.

I’ll talk to you soon in a next post,

Until then, take care of yourself ❤

Ady ❤
