In every family, we do have some traditional recipes, recipes we have known since we were kids. We call them family recipes. They are our recipes and not other family’s. In my family, we do have one in particular. For us, it’s a great baking classic in our kitchen. I even think it’s probably the first cake I learn to make with my mom. So, you guess it’s a very special one. Furthermore, it’s a veey tasty cake, though quite fat, but I think that’s what gives it all its appeal.
Today, I’m gonna share with you how to make this yummy orange cake. Hoping you’ll like it.
-225g of butter
-225g of sugar
-185g of flour
-1,5 tsp of baking powder
#First, grate the oranges’ skin and keep aside the zest. Squeeze out the juice of one orange.
#Mix the butter with sugar, juice and zest. Stir and add one by one the eggs.
#Add flour and baking powder.
#Pour in a buttered mold and bake for about 40 minutes at 210°C.
