Today I would like to share with you my kiwi compote recipe. It’s both easy and delicious. I really love it. At first, I wanted to make some marmelade, but it appeared to me that I no longer eat marmelade that much. I use it only for cakes etc, not for breakfast anymore. So there was no point making some kiwi marmelade, compote was a better option, since I still eat lot of compote.
As I said, this recipe is very simple, all you need are kiwis and brown sugar.
Here are the proportions :
– 1kg of kiwis
– 250g of brown sugar
Peel off the kiwis, cut them into small pieces and cook. Personally I used my multifunctionnal cooker. When the fruits are enough melted, add the sugar and keep cooking for a while, stirring so the sugar will blend. Don’t worry if the mixture smells strange, it’s okay, it’ll still taste good, I ensure it. I used only 250g of sugar because I don’t like when it’s too sweet, but if you feel it needs more sugar for you, go on. Just keep in mind that too much sugar isn’t that healthy.
Remove from the fire and fill jars or boxes with your hot compote. Store them in the freezer.
Thanks for passing by and reading my blog.
I’ll talk to you soon in a next post,
Until then, take care of yourself ❤
