Green Plants: A Growing Family

Hello everyone! It’s been quite a while since I last take to you about my new hobby aka indoor plants. Since then, newcomers joined the family and I just realized I didn’t tell you about them. So, let me jump out and introduce them to you while also giving an update about my other green “babies”.

New plants. At the end of Summer, as we were shopping with my mom and brother, we went to the garden store. And as they were looking for rabbits stuff, I decided to go and have a look on indoor plants. This was the begining of the end, I believe. You can be sure, I would certainly take a plant home back with me. And this is what happened. I found this gorgeous pothos plant for less than 3$. Until this one, I didn’t have any falling plant, so this little guy was a good addition to the landscape.

Few weeks later, if I’m right, there was another addition. On my behalf, it wasn’t my fault, it was my mom’s. Here is what happened. She had for years an anthurium plant in her kitchen. But this plant didn’t seem to enjoy her spot, so my mom just figured out ” Well, why shouldn’t I give it to you?! It would get more light in your room. ” And this is how I got another plant…

And a few days later, she did it again… She wanted to get rid of an asparagus she had for a while and it seems my new plant passion was a good opportunity. :’)

Then, a few months later, I went to Ikea and, I had to look at the plants…. So I ended up going back with an other anthurium, a pink one, and an other dracaena (different type of).

And finally, let’s talk about my outdoor plant. My green frenzy seemed to spread not only to indoor plants but also to outdoor plants. Before leaving the countryside and going back to university, I “stole” one of my father’s avocado trees. He succeeded to grow 2 small avocado trees out of seeds and decided to let me take one with me, for my balcony.

So now, this little guy is enjoying himself on my shady, not too sunny balcony.

That’s all for this plants update, hope you enjoyed it.

Thank you for reading my blog, I really appreciate.

I’ll talk to you soon in a next post.

Until then, take care of yourself ❤

Ady ❤
