2022 Homemade Easter Snacks

Hello everyone ! Welcome back ! Today is the day. I’m gonna be sharing with you my 2022 Easter Snacks ! For the first Lent-Easter serie ever on the blog, I wanted to make lots of them, and quite unique ones, except for the first one, which is Easter nests (not a very new and unconventionnal concept, I agree).

Let’s get started !

-Easter Chocolate Nests

For this recipe, you’ll need:

  • 200g of praline
  • 150g of butter
  • 300g of dark chocolate
  • some coconut powder
  • some hazelnut powder

Melt the chocolate and butter together. Add the praline and powders. Mix well. Let it rest a while in a drawer, until the mixture thickens a bit. Use some silicone molds, or regular ones with some cling film (this what I did since I don’t have any silicone molds :/ )

Here, you have 2 options: either you make small nests, more like Ferrero Rocher (about 2cm of diameter), either you make some larger ones, using some 5cm molds and build a crater in the middle, so that you can fill them up later. I made both. Place your mixture into the molds and place the molds into the fridge overnight.

Next morning, fill up your large nests with jams, cottage cheese, cookie powder (mixed with some honey) or whatever you wish to have in them.

Make sure you store these snacks into your fridge.

-Easter Peach Cookies

For this recipe, you’ll need:

  • 280g of flour
  • 3/4 a teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of baking soda
  • 115g of butter
  • 200g of sugar
  • 1 big egg
  • 220g of peach cubes (fresh fruits and preserved in syrup ones are both good)
  • 100g of peach jam

First of all, preheat your oven on 190°C on convection mode.

Mix flour, salt and soda together.

Fastly beat sugar and butter together until you get a foamy and whitened mixture.

Add the egg, and then incorporate the flour. Finally add the peach cubes and jam.

Make some 2cm diameter balls on two sheets of baking paper.

Bake for a total of 15 minutes, swaping the two baking plates half the baking.

-Easter Verrines

This recipe is very easy and can have so many different versions. Here is the one I’ve made.

In a large glass, first pour some roughly crushed biscuits. Add a layer of jam( here peach one) just to cover the biscuits and create a dividing with the next layer. Then add a generous amount of yogurt. Top it with some remaining crushed biscuits, honey and fruits bits. And voila !

Finally, I would suggest you serving these snacks with some bubbly water, mixed with some syrup, makes you a healthy soda. 🙂

That’ll be all for today’s post, hope you like it. Thank you for passing by and reading my blog, it means a lot to me.

I’ll talk to you soon in a next post,

Until then, take care of yourself ❤

Ady ❤
