Hello everyone ! Welcome back for another great Christmas tradition on this blog, the Christmas Snacks ! Today, I’m gonna share with you how to make easy chocolate truffles and my classical Christmas cookies in 3 flavorings.
#1 Chocolate Truffles
For this recipe, you’ll need some crushed biscuits, some chocolate spread paste, grated coconut and some powdered cocoa. Mix the crushed biscuits with the chocolate paste, add bit by bit to get the most perfect and homogeneous mixture. Using a spoon, make some round little balls out of this mixing. Roll them out into cocoa powder or in grated coconut. Store away from heat.

#2 Christmas Cookies (Plain, Chocolate, Gingerbread)
To make the plain cookies, you’ll need:
- 140g of flour
- 60g of icing sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 120g of cold butter, cut into small cubes
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Preheat the oven at 150°C on convection mode. Mix the flour, sugar and salt together. Add the butter and vanilla extract. Mix until you get a ball of dough. Spread it so you get a 5mm thickness. Cut out your shapes. Place in the oven for about 24 minutes, flipping the plates half way.
To make the Chocolate ones, simply add 25g of cocoa powder; and for the Gingerbread ones, 25g of gingerbread spices mix. The baking instructions remain the same.
That’ll be all for today’s post. I hope you like it and you found these snacks yummy. For more Christmas Snacks ideas, have a look on the links at the end of this post. 😉
